After maintenance, do a check of the vibration level
in the product. If it is not correct, speak to an
approved service agent.
Do not use a product that is damaged or does
not operate correctly. Do the safety checks,
maintenance and the servicing as given in this
manual. All other maintenance work must be done
by an approved service agent.
Product related accidents occur during the
troubleshooting, servicing and maintenance as the
operator must be in the risk area of the product. The
operator must be careful and prepare the work to
prevent accidents.
Do not make a hole in the HEPA filter. A broken
HEPA filter can cause dust to release into the air.
Make sure that you obey all local regulations to
dispose the dangerous dust correctly, before and
during maintenance.

To do before you operate the product
1. Read the operator's manual carefully and make sure
that you understand the instructions.
2. Read the engine manual that is supplied by the
engine manufacturer.
3. Use personal protective equipment. Refer to
Personal protective equipment on page 7 .
4. Make sure that only approved persons are in the
work area.
5. Do daily maintenance. Refer to
schedule on page 18 .
6. Make sure that the product is assembled correctly
and is not damaged.
7. Make sure that all bolts, screws and nuts are
tightened.

Operation
Before you operate the
Maintenance
filters for damage, air tightness of the product and
correct function of the control mechanism. In addition
the filtration efficiency of the product must be tested
at least annually, or more frequently as may be
specified by national requirements. If the test is not
conducted the main filters must be replaced by new
ones.
When carrying out service or repair operations, all
contaminated items which cannot be satisfactorily
cleaned are to be disposed of; such items shall be
disposed of in impervious bags in accordance with
any current regulation for the disposal of such waste.
All the machine parts shall be regarded as
contaminated when removed from the working
area and appropriate action taken to prevent dust
dispersal.
The outside of the machine should be
decontaminated by vacuum cleaning methods and
wiped clean or treated with sealant before being
taken out of a working area.
For user servicing, the machine shall be dismantled,
cleaned and serviced, as far as is reasonably
practicable, without causing risk to the maintenance
staff and others. Suitable precautions include
decontamination before dismantling, provision for
local filtered exhaust ventilation where the machine
is dismantled, cleaning of the maintenance area and
suitable personal protection.
It is necessary to provide for an adequate AIR
CHANGE RATE ACR in the room if the exhaust
air is returned to the room. Refer to National
regulations.
8. Make sure that the blast wheel, liners and sealing
are not damaged or worn out. Replace the parts
when 75% of the blade thickness has been worn
away.
9. Put the product on the work area. Make sure that the
transportation of the product to and in the work area
is done safely and correctly. Refer to
on page 29 .
10. Make sure that the height of the rubber seals are 1
mm/0.04 in. above the surface.
11. Do a check of the oil level. Refer to
the engine oil level on page 24 .
12. Do a check of the fuel level.
13. Do a check of the hydraulic oil level.
14. Make sure that the separator is filled with abrasive

15. Make sure that the BigBag is empty. Refer to
discard a full BigBag and install a new BigBag bag
on page 16 .
