To operate the dust valve

Turn the handle up to open the dust valve.
•
Turn the handle down to close the dust valve.
To connect and disconnect the propane
tank
CAUTION:
correct propane tank type. An incorrect
propane tank can cause damage to the
product. Refer to
31 .
CAUTION:
tank is in the correct position. Do not use the
propane tank with the top down. Refer to the
instructions of the Operator's manual of the
propane tank.
If the propane tank is connected and the product is not
in operation, close the propane tank valve.
1. Make sure that the propane tank is tightly held
in position by the lock and the holder plate. The
propane tank cannot move when the propane tank
is correctly installed.

2. Connect the propane hose (A) to the fume
connector.

3. Make sure that the propane hose is correctly
connected to the fuel valve on the engine.
4. Make sure that the all couplers (B) are in line.
Tighten the couplers by hand to connect the propane
tank to the product.
CAUTION:
complete the connection of the propane
tank to the product. The couplers can be
damaged.
5. Turn the propane tank valve counterclockwise until it
stops to start the flow of the propane.
6. Do a soap test on all propane lines. Refer to
examine the propane tank and lines on page 24 .
7. Disconnect in the opposite sequence.
To select the correct speed
The product must have the correct speed for optimal
result. Examine the result and adjust the speed if
it is necessary, the speed (ft/min) is shown on the
speed level indicator. Use the different speed modes as
follows:
•
High speed on concrete surfaces for light treatment.
•
Standard speed on concrete surfaces for heavy
treatment.
•
Low speed for steel surfaces.
