10.2.4.2 Calibration of the relative cell constants
Relative cell constant
The deviation from the nominal cell constant of a R-sensor is described by the relative cell
constant.
A corresponding conductivity value is simulated by looping a resistor into the bore of the
measuring probe. This enables the relative cell constant to be determined.

1.
Start the calibration of the relative cell constant.

2.
Loop the cable of calibration box 255196 once through the probe hole and close the
loop.
If necessary, adjust the value for the reference conductivity (seeFig. 64 Pos.1) to the
selected simulation value of the calibration box (2, 20, 200 mS/cm).
Wait for a stable measured value display and confirm the result of the measurement
with "OK". (SeeFig. 64.)
3.
A summary log of the determined calibration values is then made. Acknowledge the
log with "OK".
Failed calibrations will be cancelled at this point and discarded.
4.
By selecting "Yes", you assume the determined calibration values and the calibration
will be registered in the calibration log.
By Selecting "No", you wish to discard them.
