1.
Start the calibration routine you want.
Device menu èCalibration è Analysis input for pH/Redox
or three-point calibration
2.
If no temperature compensation is specified in the Calibration presets, enter the
temperatures of the buffer solutions manually.
If a temperature compensation is specified, the temperature of the buffer solution is
determined automatically. (See Fig. 61.)
3.
Clean the pH electrode and dip it into the respective buffer solution.
In the two-point calibration, you need two buffer solutions.
In the three-point calibration, you need three buffer solutions
(Acidic, neutral and alkaline).
4.
Enter the pH of the buffer solution
Verify that the displayed "pH buffer 1" matches the pH of the buffer solution used.
If no buffer record table is specified, the value "pH buffer 1" is taken from the
calibration presets. This can be changed manually. (See Fig. 62.)
5.
Wait for a stable reading display, and confirm the measurement result with "OK"
6.
For each additional calibration point, repeat steps 3 to 5 with the respective buffer
solutions.
7.
The system generates a summary log of the determined calibration values.
Acknowledge the log with "OK".
Failed calibrations are cancelled at this point and discarded.
8.
Select "Yes" to assume the determined calibration values and log the calibration.
Select "No" to discard them.
10.2.3
Calibration ORP (redox) measurement
The calibration of sensors is done by redox measurements in test solutions with a defined
redox potential.
To perform calibrations, you must be a registered user with the
corresponding user rights. See
on page 108.
10.2.3.1 Calibration presets
The default settings for calibration are stored permanently in this device.
Changing these settings can only be done by Ecolab.
In the calibration presets, the calibration routines are released, which should be
accessible for the respective calibration. Non-approved calibration routines are not visible
in the calibration menu. More calibration presets are explained in the following table.
