) To manually enter an IP configuration for the Ecolab 'Versatronic' , a valid free IP address of the network must be known. For this
purpose, consult with your network administrator.
In the Ecolab PC Setup program the Ethernet settings are set in the online
parameters.
From the PC, the IP configuration of the device can also be changed if PC
and device are connected via Ethernet. In this case, changing the IP
address or subnet mask can end the PC/device connection.
See
10.4.14 Serial interfaces
The settings of the serial interfaces of all subscriber devices on a bus must match.
Go to: Device menu è Configuration è Serial interfaces è Serial interfaces 1 to 2

Explanation
Manual:
If no DHCP server is installed on the
network and the IP address configuration
is known (e.g. for a network
administrator), enter the data manually.
Automatic: The network has a DHCP
server installed. At power up and startup,
Ecolab 'Versatronic' receives the IP
configuration from the DHCP server; IP
configuration is automatic.
IP configuration of the Ethernet option
board
Manual entry of known configuration
data, or automatic configuration by
DHCP server (see Configuration item
"Issue IP address")
Transmission speed (bit rate) and duplex
mode of the Ethernet option board
This setting must match the setting of
the switch or router ports to which the
Ecolab 'Versatronic' is connected.
