Use
Menu item of the memory manager:
n
Safely Remove Hardware:
To prevent damage to data or hardware, this menu item is to be called before a
plugged-in USB flash drive is disconnected.
Please note the instructions on the device display.
n
Writer update è USB:
Use this option for regularly collecting recorder data and the continual archiving
of measurement data history. Measurement data that has not been picked up is
transferred along with its configuration data on the memory stick. The measurement
data is stored in DAT files and the configuration data in SET files. These files can be
opened with the evaluation software PCA3000 Ecolab and assessed. The exported
data is internally marked as collected and the residual capacity display set to 100%.
CAUTION!
Make sure recorder updates are carried out on time!
If the ring buffer is full (remaining memory screen of the device at 0%),
measurement data in the ring memory (starting with the oldest) is
overwritten and the measurement data lost.
n
Recorder backup è USB:
Use this option to back up you recorder data for protection against data loss.
All measurement data stored in the ring memory (also already picked up) are
transferred along with their configuration data on the memory stick.
The measurement data is stored in DAT files and the configuration data in SET files.
These files can be opened with the evaluation software PCA3000 Ecolab and
assessed.
Unlike the recorder update, the recorder data is not flagged internally and the
remaining memory screen is not reset.
The functions "Recorder update" and "Recorder backup" are only available
if the extra code "Registration" is enabled.
By changing the configuration of the device, a measurement data recording
is completed. The previous measurement data since the beginning of the
current data record is stored in a file with the extension "DAT" together with
another file with the extension "SET" in the unit. When the new
configuration is applied, a new recording section begins. When recorder
data is collected via an update or backup, each recording section has one
DAT file and one SET file.
Device configuration è USB
The complete and current configuration of the device is transferred to the memory stick
and stored in a file named "KONF304.SET". If there is already a configuration file on the
stick, then a security prompt appears asking if you really want to overwrite it.
Press OK to save the current configuration to the stick and overwrite the existing file.
