The FSC will sort the PV inverters
based on their operating hours

Setpoints for the PV inverters will
be ramped for this time in case of
switching action.
PvSpntTrigTm
The active and reactive power
setpoints for the PV inverters will
be transmitted cyclical after this
time in seconds.
PvTransTm
Setpoints for the PV inverters will
be ramped for this time in case of
switching action.
FallbackPc
In case of communication issues
to the inverters, they will feed in
this percentage of nominal
power.

Power outage due to sudden power fluctuations in the PV power plant
If the communication between the Fuel Save Controller and the inverters is interrupted, the inverters will operate
according to their fallback settings. When communication is restored, power fluctuations may occur if the fallback
settings of the inverters deviate from the fallback settings of the Fuel Save Controller. These power fluctuations can
result in failure of the power supply in the PV diesel hybrid system.
• Ensure that the fallback settings of the inverters match the fallback settings of the Fuel Save Controller.
Procedure:
1. Go to Control Functions > FSC control functions > Inverter management via the page and menu selection.
2. Set the desired parameters (see Section 4.8.3, page 20).
