To back up data via online backup:
An online backup requires an active Inter-
net connection.
Only backup and software update are pos-
sible online; not the recovery of data.
▷ Tap on
Online Backup
All furnace data (operating system, software,
set parameters and firing programmes) are
stored on the server.
▷ Wait until the backup process is completed. This
can take several minutes.
The furnace data are backed up.
To update the software online:
An online update of the furnace software
requires an active Internet connection.
▷ Tap on
Software Update
A message indicates that the furnace is looking
for a new version of the software. When a new
version of the furnace software is available, a
prompt to download the new version is dis-
played.
▷ Tap on
OK
.
▷ Wait until the update process is complete and
the furnace reboots. This can take several min-
utes.
The software is updated.
9.3.3 FTP server login
The FTP functionality provides access to an exter-
nally connected FTP server. As an example, this
allows for firing programmes, image folders and
files to be linked to the furnace.
If necessary, request the login data for the
FTP server from the IP administrator.

To establish a connection to the FTP server:
