11.2.2 Check programme

The furnace has an internal programme with
which the operability of the most important com-
ponents are checked. The checks include:
_ The detection of aged components, such as
wear of heating elements Correction of mal-
functions.
After approx. 500 firing runs, the unit displays a
recommendation to start the check programme.

The check programme is started. It takes about
180 minutes, depending on the set maximum
increase rate.
On completion of the check programme, the
results are saved/stored in a diagnosis file. If
these diagnosis data show that the firing proce-
dure of a programme presumably cannot be
worked off correctly, then the furnace will auto-
matically prompt this information when starting a
firing programme. As an example, this will be the
case when the heating element is already exces-
sively worn and a high firing temperature needs to
be reached quickly.
