▷ Clean housing and operating/control elements
with a soft cloth and a mild cleaning agent. Do
not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads or sol-
vents such as alcohol, petrol, or acetone.
▷ To ensure proper sealing, always keep the seal
ring of the lift plate free of dust. For this, use a
brush with a receptacle (ceramic dust) or a
moist cloth.
11.2

Maintenance

11.2.1 Temperature calibration
For new units, we recommend performing
an initial temperature calibration after
approx. 6 months.
Required aids:
_ Calibration set with PTC ring and calibration
chart.
_ Sliding calipers with a measuring accuracy
exceeding ± 0.01 mm (= 10 μm), in order to
ensure precise evaluation and temperature cal-
ibration.
Prior to calibration, the furnace must be
thoroughly heated through.
▷ Place the PTC ring centred on the insulation
table.

started. It takes approx. 180 minutes.
The programme run can be cancelled at any time:

A security prompt - if you really want to cancel
the programme - is displayed:

confirms the prompt and cancels the pro-
gramme.
▪
ESC
withdraws the decision and continues the
programme.
After the programme has run off:
▷ Allow the sintered PTC ring to cool down to
room temperature on the insulation table.
