10.1
Switching on and off
10.1.1 Preparations
▷ Check if the mains cable of the sintering furnace
is plugged into a socket outlet with earthing
contact.
▷ Check if the furnace is connected via a web
interface with a single computer or with a net-
work (optional).
10.1.2 Switching on
Cold start:
▷ Switch the furnace on via the mains switch on
the back side.
The furnace control system boots up (approx.
one minute). Afterwards, an internal check of
the furnace hardware and software takes place
and the lift automatically moves to the bottom
position.
Start from idle state:
▷ Switch the furnace on with the On/Off switch
next to the touchscreen.
The furnace is immediately ready for operation.
▷ Check, if the insulation table is seated on the lift
plate. If this is not the case:
▪ Switch the furnace off.
▪ Mount the insulation table.
▪ Switch the furnace on again.
10.1.3 Switching off
▷ Shut the firing chamber.
▷ Switch the furnace into the idle state with the
On/Off switch next to the touchscreen.
-or-
▷ Switch the furnace off via the mains switch on
the back side.

10.2 Placing on and removing a firing
object
10.2.1 Placing on a firing object
NOTE:
Avoid damaging the firing object and the heat-
insulation material!
▷ When positioning the firing object, pay atten-
tion that no parts project over the upper brim
of the sintering plate.
▷ Place on the wave-formed sintering ring
▷ Mount the sintering plate.
▷ Place the firing object on the sintering plate.
▷ If required: Place on a second sintering ring with
sintering plate and the firing objects.

10.2.2 Removing the firing object
▷ Remove the firing object using suitable aids
(tweezers, safety gloves).
