ENDOGATOR™ Tubing for PENTAX
1.
Open the sterile peel pack and remove the ENDOGATOR™ Irrigation Tubing. Open a bottle of sterile water (250cc, 500cc, or 1000cc). Drop the tube into the
sterile water bottle and firmly tighten the bottle cap to ensure a secure seal. Remove the label from the pouch and apply it to the bottle of sterile water.
Write the date and time on the label.
2.
Insert the "C" ring of the (#100125) tube set into the reusable ENDOGATOR™ Cartridge (#100110) with the tube side out. (Note: Ensure the ring is centered
and aligned properly in the cartridge or the tubing may crimp and disrupt water flow.) Gently pull the ends of the tube into the exit slots and connect the
cartridge to the pump.
3.
Connect the backflow valve (distal tip of the ENDOGATOR Tubing) to either the ENDOGATOR™ Auxiliary Water Connector or Biopsy Irrigation Accessory.
Connect tubing to the GI endoscope, and prime the tubing prior to use by activating the foot pedal; flush water through the entire GI endoscope.
4.
If the water bottle needs to be replaced, use proper aseptic technique.
5.
When the procedure is finished, turn off the pump unit before disconnecting the ENDOGATOR Tubing.
6.
Discard the ENDOGATOR Tubing daily.

ENDOGATOR™ Auxiliary Water Jet Connector for OLYMPUS
1.
Open the sterile peel-pack, remove the ENDOGATOR™ Auxiliary Water Jet Connector, and firmly attach to the ENDOGATOR™ Tube Set's backflow valve
via the luer lock connection.
2.
Attach the ENDOGATOR Auxiliary Water Jet Connector to the GI endoscope's auxiliary water port by engaging the threads and turning slowly until you
feel resistance.
3.
Prior to the procedure, activate the footswitch and prime the tube set and GI endoscope with sterile water.
4.
WARNING: Potential Patient Safety Risk: If auxiliary water jet connector is leaking disconnect and replace with another adapter. Contact Customer Service
about the leaking adapter for replacement instructions.
5.
Immediately after the procedure, disconnect the ENDOGATOR Auxiliary Water Jet Connector from the GI endoscope.

1.

1.
Open the sterile peel-pack and remove the backflow valve.
2.
Attach the backflow valve via the luer lock connector.
3.
After the procedure, discard the used backflow valve.

ENDOGATOR™ Irrigation Channel Tubing
1.
Open the sterile peel-pack and attach the irrigation channel tubing to the distal tip of the ENDOGATOR Irrigation Tubing at the backflow valve.
2.
Prior to the procedure, activate the footswitch and prime the tube set and irrigation channel with sterile water. The irrigation channel tubing feeds into the
GI endoscope biopsy port and delivers fluid to a specific area for irrigation.
3.
After the procedure, discard the used irrigation channel tubing.

ENDOGATOR™ Channel Adapter
1.
Open the sterile peel-pack and attach the channel adapter to the distal tip of the ENDOGATOR Irrigation Tubing at the backflow valve.
2.
Insert the channel adapter into the biopsy port of the GI endoscope, and depress foot pedal for biopsy irrigation.
3.
After the procedure, discard the used channel adapter, along with the attached backflow valve.

ENDOGATOR™ Single Use Auxiliary Water Jet Connector for OLYMPUS GI Endoscopes
1.
Open the sterile peel pack and remove the ENDOGATOR Single Use Auxiliary Water Jet Connector which contains its own backflow valve. Attach the ENDOGATOR
Single Use Auxiliary Water Jet Connector to the GI endoscope's auxiliary water port by engaging the threads and turning slowly until you feel resistance.
2.
Firmly attach to the ENDOGATOR Tube Set's (intended for use with the 100241) backflow valve via the luer lock connection.
3.
Prior to the procedure, activate the footswitch and prime the tube set and GI endoscope with sterile water.
4.
WARNING: Potential Patient Safety Risk: If auxiliary water jet connector is leaking disconnect and replace with another adapter. Contact Customer Service
about the leaking adapter for replacement instructions.
5.
Discard the ENDOGATOR Single Use Auxiliary Water Jet Connector after each procedure.

ENDOGATOR Single Use Auxiliary Water Jet Connector for PENTAX GI Endoscopes
1.
The ENDOGATOR Single Use Auxiliary Water Jet Connector contains its own backflow valve, and is a disposable replacement for the
PENTAX
Water Jet Check Valve Adapter OE-C12 and PENTAX
®
2.
If the PENTAX Water Jet Check Valve Adapter OE-C12 is installed onto the GI endoscope, remove it by unthreading it from the water port. DO NOT discard
the OE-C12. This component must be used during the reprocessing of the GI endoscope.
3.
Open the sterile peel pack, remove the ENDOGATOR Single Use Auxiliary Water Jet Connector, and attach it to the scope's auxiliary water port by inserting
the nozzle end into the port and engaging the threads while turning clockwise steadily until you feel firm resistance.
4.
Connect the ENDOGATOR Tubing's (intended for use with the 100242) backflow valve to the ENDOGATOR Single Use Auxiliary Water Jet Connector via luer lock.
5.
Prior to the procedure, activate the pump footswitch and prime the ENDOGATOR Tubing and GI endoscope with sterile water.
6.
After the procedure, disconnect the ENDOGATOR Single Use Auxiliary Water Jet Connector from the GI endoscope and ENDOGATOR Tubing. Dispose of
the ENDOGATOR Single Use Auxiliary Water Jet Connector.
