Troubleshooting
Problem
No voice feedback
from SIDNE
A device does
not appear on
the device menu
or tablet option
screen
System error
(Reported by
message on LCD
screen. See the
"Error Codes"
section of this
manual for
details.)
When using
a software
dongle, SIDNE
announces,
"Invalid Card
Detected"
Possible Solution
•
Ensure the volume is not set to mute.
•
On the SIDNE console, select the Volume menu
and increase the volume with the right arrow
button.
•
On the tablet or Switchpoint router, select
"Options" and adjust the volume with the +
button.
•
Ensure the device is powered on.
•
Ensure proper connections at both ends of the
SIDNE interface cables.
•
Disconnect and reconnect the corresponding
SIDNE interface cable.
•
Make sure the device driver has been loaded
onto the SIDNE console
•
Reboot SIDNE .
•
If the error persists, proceed according to the
"Service and Claims" section in this manual.
•
Check the version of the dongle. All 1.0 version
dongles will work only with older versions of
SIDNE. All 2.0 version dongles will work with
old and new versions of SIDNE.
•
The dongle may be single-use only. Please contact
your local Stryker Representative.
