Operating SIDNE

You can control SIDNE through three interfaces:
1. The console keypad
2. The Switchpoint router (SIDNE Suite models only)
3. The wireless tablet (SIDNE Link or Suite models)
All devices connected to SIDNE can still be operated by their front-panel
controls and will continue to function even if SIDNE is powered off.

Using the Console Keypad

The console keypad and LCD screen allow you to view system information and
adjust system-level settings through a series of four menus.
• To access a menu, press the down or up arrow key until the menu
appears on the LCD screen
• To make selections in any menu, press the left or right arrow keys to
highlight your selection, then press the OK key to accept
The console has four menus from which to choose:
1. Main (default)
2. Devices
3. Volume
4. Language
for viewing system information
for viewing device information
for adjusting the volume of audio feedback
for selecting a language for audio feedback and
the touchscreen interface
