Description of device WA 900 / 920

3.1

The important functional parts

Familiarize yourself with the arrangement and position of the
operating elements.
Central unit
A) Screen: Display of the working pages with the illustrated
measurement angles; the control commands are displayed
on the left-hand border.
B) Compartment for printer: is used to make hard copies of the
results of the measurement that has been carried out.
C) Keyboard: for selecting the available program sections and
inputting the alphanumeric data.
The ENTER key calls the function that has been selected
using the arrow keys.
On pressing the ESC key, the program returns to the
previous step.
D) Compartment for personal computer: the PC holds the
vehicle wheel alignment program. The electronic system
(Smartcard Reader) for controlling the wheel alignment
device is also located there.
E) Mains power cord with the main switch on the bottom right
side.
F) Sensor with bracket. Includes the contacts for the battery
charger of WA 920.
G) Sensor connecting plug: for connecting the sensors via the
data cables.
H) Receiver for wireless sensors (only WA 920). Data is trans-
mitted to the control electronics by radio.
