You then should get the information that upgrade has been
successfully completed.
You now can remove the secondary smart card from smart card
reader.
Keep all the SmartCards in a safe place. They may be
required again during servicing work.

Operation of the special accessoires
11.1
VAG- Process for vehicles with multilink axles
The process is simply used for vehicles of medium class and
luxury class, which are produced both by the Volkswagen- Audi

- group roughly between 1997/98- 2004/05 and are equipped
with a multilink axle. Following vehicles are concerned:
Audi
Skoda
VW
Requirement for the VAG- Process is the installation of the
smartcard 1 987 009 AS2N. Furthermore you need special
accessories.
11.1.1 Special accessories for the VAG- multilink axles pro-
cess
In order to perform the VAG- multilink procedure it is necessary
to use the measuring bar. We offer you a speciall tool, which is

logue no. 1 987 009 A25N.
