CLEANING
FIRST UNPLUG THE CORD FROM THE SOCKET!
Clean the griddle after each use. This prevents leftover food from becoming encrusted in the appliance.
Let the PRINCESS FAMILY CHEF cool down after use. Never pour cold water onto the griddle. This
may damage the appliance and can cause spattering of hot water. Do not use abrasive or strong deter-
gents.
Clean the griddle using kitchen paper. Soak stubborn leftovers with cooking oil first and leave to dissolve
for 5 minutes. The outside of the base can be wiped down with a damp cloth.
For more thorough cleaning, the griddle can be washed in the washing-up or in the dishwasher. Keep the
temperature regulator cord dry at all times.
Once the griddle has been cleaned, we advise you to dry off the electric contact (where the cord is inser-
ted) using kitchen paper before using the appliance again.
PRINCESS TIPS
- This griddle is only suitable for household use.
- Make sure that the cord, or extension cord if necessary, is placed where no one can stumble over it and
away from the hot griddle.
- If the appliance or cord are damaged, we advise you not to use the appliance and to take it to the re-
tailer for repair. Damaged cords may only be replaced by the service department.
- Ensure children do not use the griddle unsupervised. The griddle gets very hot. Of course be careful
yourself, as well. Allow the griddle to cool down completely before moving it or tidying it away.
- Plug this appliance only into an earthed outlet.
- Outside use is recommended only in dry weather. If it starts to rain, unplug the appliance immediately.
- Use an earthed extension cord with a sufficient diameter (min 3 square mm) and unroll it completely so
that it does not get too hot. Make sure that the extension cord cannot touch the surface.
- Do not use any other cord apart from the one supplied.

type of plug is used, a 15-amp fuse must be fitted either in the plug or at the distribution
board.
