Electrical connections
WARNING: THE INSTALLATION SHALL BE CARRIED
OUT ONLY BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL AND
WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THE INSTRUCTIONS
PROVIDED IN THIS MANUAL.
WARNING: ENSURE THAT AN APPROVED WALL-
MOUNTED MAINS OUTLET IS AVAILABLE.
WARNING: NEVER LAY POWER SUPPLY CABLES
OVER THE FLOOR, UNLESS PROTECTED BY
AN APPROVED COVER.
Check on the plate of the machine that the electrical
specifi cations of the power source are the same as
the machine.
The machine, depending on the ordered version, may
require:
230 VAC, 50 Hz, 1 ph, 15 A
or
220 VAC, 60 Hz, 1 ph, 17 A
or
200 VAC, 50 Hz, 1 ph, 17 A
or
200 VAC, 60 Hz, 1 ph, 17 A
WARNING: IT IS SUGGESTED TO INSTALL FUSES
OF 20A ON ELECTRICAL FEED LINE.
Electrical specifi cations are clearly marked on a label
at the end of the electric cable.
Before connecting the machine to the power source
check that the power supply has an effi cient earth system.
Connect the electric cable of the machine to an
approved plug with a suitable amperage.
Note:
The power supply system must be
checked by a licensed electrician before
connecting the tire changer.
Note:
The yellow/green wire in the cable is the
earth wire. Never connect the earth wire
to power terminals.
Check that the power supply has an automatic circuit
breaker with a differential circuit rated at 30 mA.
WARNING: IF INVERTERS ARE PRESENT, ONLY
USE TYPE B RESIDUAL CURRENT OPERATED
CIRCUIT BREAKERS.
The tire changer operates in a wide voltage range
(plus/minus 10%).
Every electric motor has a class of insulation suitable
for hot and moist climates.
