4.3.2 Tool Holder Unit
To use the Tool Holder Unit correctly, proceed as
follows:
• Check that the machine is in Manual Mode.

INSTRUCTIONS SET OUT ON THE PLATES.
Tool Holder Unit upstroke:
• Activate the lever (2, Fig.4.1-2) and hold it in the
forward position; the Tool Holder Unit will move
upwards (Fig.4.3-4).
• Release the command when the upper end stop is
reached.
Tool Holder Unit downstroke:
• Activate the lever (2, Fig.4.1-2) and hold it in
the back position; the Tool Holder Unit will move
downwards (Fig.4.3-4).
• Release the command when the lower end stop is
reached.
Note: The command can be released in any position
and the operation will be interrupted.
If the command is activated again, the
operation will be resumed from wherever
it is.
Upper Tool Arm Sideways Movement:
• Switch the selector (6, Fig.4.1-2) to the right and
the upper tool arm will move sideways towards the
outside of the machine (1, Fig.4.3-5).
• Switch the selector (6, Fig.4.1-2) to the left; and
the upper tool will move back inwards to the work
position.
Lower Tool Arm Sideways Movement:
• Switch the selector (8, Fig.4.1-2) to the right and
the lower tool arm will move sideways towards the
outside of the machine (2, Fig.4.3-5).
• Switch the selector (8, Fig.4.1-2) to the left; and
the lower tool will move back inwards to the work
position.
Upper Rotation Tool:
• Switch the selector (7, Fig.4.1-2) to the left; the
upper wheel tool rotates and prepares to be inserted
between the tire and the rim (1, Fig.4.3-6).
• Switch the selector (7, Fig.4.1-2) to the right; the
upper wheel tool rotates and moves to the bead
grip position to extract it from the rim (2, Fig.4.3-6).
