Operations
Upper bead removal:
1. If necessary press the pedal to proceed with rotation
only: this is to carry out good lubrication.
Note: In this case the rotation control pedal is
also enabled to allow any pressure
sensor to be moved away from the
tool, for example in Run-Flat wheels
or generally to angle the valve.
2. Use the pedal to move the valve to the one o'clock
position, in relation to the operator.
3. Activate the Lever to continue with the tool insertion
procedure. This is followed by a stop (beep).
4. With the bead pusher in the position opposite the
tool push the bead in the rim channel (Fig.5.2-4).
5. Activate the Lever to re-start the procedure, which
continues with bead extraction.
6. Release the lever.
7. Check that the Grip operation has been completed
successfully (Fig.5.2-5).
Note: The normal procedure is initial extraction of
the upper bead (Fig.5.2-5) then complete
removal of the upper side.
If the bead is not extracted, the operator must:
Keep the lever activated.
Note: If there is excessive force in the bead extraction
movement the automated movement repetition
may be triggered to protect the electrical
motor.
Note: If necessary, use the bead pusher to insert
the bead into the rim drop centre (Fig.5.2-4).
A beep identifies each repetition of the automated
movement. Once the maximum number of repetitions
is reached, there is a temporary block and the display
F
shows H17 (
7.1).
