7.3 Changing the operating mode
Normal operation usually does not require any
modifi cation of the factory-adjusted operating modes
or their factory-adjusted statuses.
For specifi c needs, or to customise the settings, the
operator can temporarily or permanently change the
modes and conditions in the SETTINGS MENU.
Settings and indications from the SETTINGS
MENU
• Press the "SETTINGS" key (4, Fig. 7-1).
• Select the key for the desired Topic;
A-General confi gurations,
B-Operational confi guration
C-Network and print confi gurations,
D-Activity processing,
E-System information.
The screen displays two boxes; on the left there are
the items that can be changed and on the right their
condition.
The item selected turns a darker colour (2, Fig. 7-2).
In the box on the right the user can make the changes.
— Select the option from the ones displayed, or turn
the shaft to obtain the desired value.
— Type the desired setting.
— Press the ESC to exit.
Operating mode has been changed and it will remain
stored until the machine is switched off with the main
switch, or until the next setting.
To make the changes available continuously, follow
the procedure set out in this section (Fig.7-6) to send
the settings to the permanent memory.
Settings changed, but not saved in the permanent
memory will be reset to the previous values when the
machine is started again.
Warning:
The "Compensation" cannot be stored in the
permanent memory.
