THIS MANUAL IS ADDRESSED TO :
Chief,executive and operating personnel of the factory where the machine is installed as well as to the transpor-
tation operators. In particular this Manual is addressed to and shall be known by:
- the whole staff of the Production dept where the machine is installed;
- the Maintenance Dept staff;
- the Internal Transportation Dept staff;
- the First Aid and Internal Intervention staff;
- the Surveillance staff.
THE AIM OF THE MANUAL IS TO EXPLAIN :
- the usage of the machine in compliance with its design;
- the technical features;
- the elements of the different components (mechanical/electric);
- the transportation, handling, installation and assembly operations;
- the set up, adjustment, start up, stop and out of work operations;
- the riskiness related to residual risks, the measures to prevent it and the instructions to work
without risks;
- the periodic maintenance interventions to be carried out at fi xed intervals in order to keep the
machine fully effi cient;
- the extraordinary maintenance interventions;
- the spare parts to keep in stock, where and how to fi nd the spare parts not in stock;
- the necessary expendable materials, where and how to order them.
This Manual provides indications and instructions about the use of the machine which are meant to be added to
but in no way to replace or modify any general or specifi c RULE,REGULATION,DECREE OR LAW in force in the
place where the installation occurs and concerning safety, use and maintenance of mechanical, electric,chemical,
oleodynamic, pneumatic or any other equipment or plant.
This Manual provides Maintenance Dept staff with suggestions and recommendations about how to carry out
the interventions on the machine, assuming that this staff has already a general and wide experience allowing
them to solve any mechanical and electric maintenance problem which might occur.
ALFAMATIC usually supplies two copies of this Manual along with the machine;
the fi rst copy is supplied along with the shipment and is placed in the relevant cover on the machine. This copy
shall be used for all operations related to installation, internal transportation, lifting, positioning, anchorage,
assembly, adjustment, set up, start up etc. At the completion of the installation, this copy shall be always retai-
ned for immediate reference and for any extraordinary/urgent maintenance intervention.
The second copy, sent to the user or to the distributor in a specifi c packaging, either with the remaining part
of the supply or under separate cover, is addressed to the Technical Dept.
ALFAMATIC will be pleased to provide copy of the manuals supplied with the machine for any requirement of
the customer. Requests shall be addressed to our Documentation Archives - Technical Dept specifying all the
data referred to the machine under reference.
This Manual, together with the attached documentation and drawings provided with the machine are meant for
general reference use and some technical details may be not specifi ed. All dimensions are not binding and are
subject to alteration without notice.
The Manual as well as the technical documentation and drawings supplied with the machine are property of
ALFAMATIC - all rights reserved - therefore they cannot be put at disposal of any third party whatsover.
ALFAMATIC reserves the right to update or modify one or more features of the machine or of the manual without
notice and without being obliged to apply such updating or modifi cation to the machines already installed and
relevant manuals.
ALFAMATIC will be pleased to take into account and possibly to accept any suggestion aiming at the improvement
of this manual. Any suggestion shall be addressed to our Technical Dept. Should the machine be transferred
to a third party, the user undertakes to deliver also all the copies of the manual in his/her possession and at
the same time to inform ALFAMATIC accordingly.
