MAINTENANCE
LUBRICATION AND ADJUSTMENT
Many pedals cannot be disassembled to allow access to the internal bearings and axle. However, it is
usually possible to inject a little oil onto the inside bearings, and this should be done every six months. If
the pedal is the type that can be fully disassembled, then the bearings should be removed, cleaned and
greased every six to twelve months. Because of the wide variety of pedal types and their internal com-
plexity, disassembly procedures are beyond the scope of this manual and further assistance should be
sought from a specialist.
PEDAL WITH TIGHTENED FASTENERS
the shaft is completely screwed, tighten with 15mm Allen wrench.
If you want to remove a pedal, remember that the right pedal shaft must be rotated counter clockwise,
i.e. in the opposite direction of its placement. If you want to replace the original pedals for a new game,
make sure that the size and shaft threads are compatible with your bicycle crank. Bikes use one of two
types of crank shafts and they have different threads. It is possible that your bicycle is equipped with
a one piece crank, with no separated shaft. These work with pedals that have ½" (12.7mm) threads.
Bicycles equipped with three parts brackets with a separate shaft, left and right crank, use a slightly
larger thread with ⁹ / ₁₆" (14mm).
Never force a pedal with a wrong size screw into the crank.
CRANKSET
The crankset set must be inspected before each use.
Check if it is properly adjusted and tight.
Check if the nuts / bolts that tighten the crank to the axle bracket are properly tightened.
Check the pedals tightness (crankset). The right pedal can be tightened with a 15mm screwdriver or in
some cases with 6mm Allen wrench. This tightening is done in a clockwise direction. For the left pedal,
the tightening is done in reverse.
Never ride a bicycle if the wrenchless cranksets are badly tightened. This can be dangerous and damage
the crank with no possibility of repair.

Never ride a bike in traffic locations, with fully tightened fasteners.
The right and left pedals of the bicycle have different threads and can
not be changed. Never force a pedal into the crank.
The right pedal, which stands on the side of the sprocket, is marked
with a "R" on the shaft end, and twists itself in a clockwise direction.
The left pedal, which stands on the other hand, is marked with a "L" on
the shaft, and twists itself in the opposite direction.
Enter the correct pedal crank and start in the screwing it by hand. When
