ENGINE OIL REPLACEMENT
After draining the oil as described above, proceed as
follows:
Unscrew the two screws (1) and remove the cover (2)

by slightly rotating it.
Remove the oil filter (3).

Check that the spring (4) is in its seat on the bottom

of the filter housing.
Note
If the tapered spring (4) is out of its seat, position
its largest diameter in the seat so that it remains
in position.

Check the O-ring (5) status and replace it if worn.

Replace the filter (3) and fit it on the cover (2).

Refit the cover (2) with the filter in the proper housing
-
and start the screws (1) (10 Nm, 1.0 kgm, 7.37 ft/lb).
Note
Make sure that the cover holes match those of the
ducts on the crankcase side.
