ENGINE COOLANT LEVEL CHECK
Check the level (1) in the right radiator with engine
cold and motorcycle in vertical position. The coolant
must be 10 mm (0.39 in) above the parts, and a level
greater than 2-3 cm (0.78-1.18 in) from the bottom of
the recovery reservoir (2), located in front of the rear
shock absorber, must never be present.
CAUTION
Never remove the radiator cap (3) with
engine hot. There is the risk of liquid
escaping and causing burns.
Note
It may be difficult to eliminate the liquid from
painted surfaces. If this is the case, wash with
water.
The radiator cap (3) features two locking positions: the
first is used for preventive pressure relief in the cooling
system.
