8. SET­uP AND ASSEMBLY
8.1 Procedure
Carry out setting up and mounting in the following order:
1. Connect the welding power supply.
2. Mount the clamping inserts.
3. Set up the electrode.
4. Clamp the workpiece.
5. Carry out the gas and cooling-liquid function test.
6. Connect the accessories.
7. Configure the welding procedure.
8.2 Connecting the welding power supply
WARNING!
NOTE!
1. Attach the strain relief (1).
2. Connect the Amphenol plug (2).
3. Connect the welding power plug (3) and welding power
socket (4).
4. Connect the blue (5) and red (6) cooling liquid connection.
5. Connect the gas hose (7).
6. Switch on the welding power supply.
7. Press the GAS button to carry out the gas and cooling-
liquid function test

Burning through arc!
If persons trip over the hose package, the plug could be pulled out of the welding power
supply and an arc may arise.
X Lay the hose package so that it cannot be tensioned.
X Ensure that the hose package is not a tripping hazard.
X Attach the strain relief.
Overheating of the weld head due to lack of cooling liquid!
X Ensure that the cooling liquid vessel of the welding power supply is filled.
