Functionality testing before start-up:
BEFORE SWITCHING ON THE FORMING MACHINE, REMOVE THE PROTECTIVE FILM
AVOIDING USING OF TOOLS WHICH CAN DAMAGE THE SURFACES.
Having inserted the power cable plug in the socket of the electrical mains, the machine is ready for
functionality testing.
•
Before starting the machine, ensure all the guards are correctly installed.
•
During the first operating cycle, and then each time deep cleaning is carried out of the
plates, the hot plates must be greased with a light layer of olive oil is placed on the hot
plates using paper and is subsequently cleaned using absorbent paper, to then take a
dough ball, flatten it and then re-shape it into a ball, repeating this until the dough no
longer sticks to the plates. This creates a protective layer on the plates, also facilitating
sliding of the dough during pressing.

Turn the main switch to position "1";
•
Adjust the temperature of the plates (recommended 150°) using thermostats "B" and "C".

To adjust the temperature, press the "SET" key. The digits on the display will start to flash; with
the "UP" and "DOWN" keys, select the desired temperature and press "SET" to confirm.

The thermostats indicate the instantaneous temperature of the plates. To display the temperature
set, briefly press the "SET", key and the display will show the set point, press the "SET" key again
to exit.

Using the timer, program the pressing time using the "+" and "-" keys under the desired time is
reached (recommended between 0.6" and 1");
On reaching the temperature set,
•
Lower the front guard to start the ascent, pressure and descent cycle.

On first start-up, you are advised to bring the temperature of the plates to 150°C and
leave them at temperature, at least for 1 hour. By doing so, any fumes or odours deriving
from the production materials will be evacuated. These odours disappear in subsequent
working cycles.
THREE-PHASE FORMING MACHINE: AFTER CONNECTING THE MACHINE TO THE
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, RUN A TEST CYCLE. IF ON FIRST START-UP, THE LOWER PLATE
RISES COMPLETELY, THE 2 PHASES MUST BE INVERTED IN THE POWER PLUG.
