If, from the values measured, the machine determines that the relative tyre-wheel fit-
ment positions may be improved to reduce radial force variation, the icon
is displayed on the screen together with the maximum percentage improvement attain-
able by following the recommended procedure.

Note: the operator may also decide to perform the matching procedure even if not
expressly recommended by the machine.
7.5 WHEEL-TYRE MATCHING
To access the tyre-wheel matching programme:
- press the 'matching' button
- rotate the wheel so that the cursor and the wheel on the screen turn green, then press
'next'

- mark the 3 o'clock position on the tyre with chalk and press 'next'
- rotate the tyre relative to the wheel to match the marking on the tyre with the inflation
valve on the wheel, inflate the tyre to 2.4 bar and press 'next'
- perform a measurement spin to check that the relative tyre-wheel fitment positions
have effectively been improved.
Note: the operator may quit the procedure at any time by pressing Exit
7.6 IPOS TC PROGRAMME
With this programme, after checking the status of each wheel, the machine automatically
suggests the optimum fitment positions of the wheels on the vehicle in relation to one
