Quick Controls

Q (Quality)
Quick Controls
Retrologue provides a predefined set of 8 quick controls that can be controlled
directly from within your Steinberg DAW.
By default, these quick controls are assigned to the following parameters:
N
You can also change the default quick controls assignments. For more information,
see the Operation Manual of your Steinberg DAW.

MIDI Controllers

Most of the parameters in Retrologue can be adjusted via MIDI controllers.
The MIDI controller assignments are saved globally for the plug-in, with one
exception: The mod wheel assignment is saved with each preset. This allows you to
control effect parameters using the mod wheel, which would otherwise not be
controllable, because they are not available as modulation destinations in the
modulation matrix.
N
Adjusts the bandwidth of the mid-range peak filters from wide to narrow. By
increasing the Q value on the low and high shelving filters, you can add a dip
to their shape.
1 is assigned to Filter Cutoff
2 is assigned to Resonance.
3 is assigned to Distortion.
4 is assigned to Filter Envelope.
5 is assigned to Filter Attack.
6 is assigned to Filter Decay.
7 is assigned to Amp Attack.
8 is assigned to Amp Decay.
OTE
OTE
Volume and pan are assigned to controllers 7 and 10 by default, and are
therefore always available.
If you use Retrologue in a Steinberg DAW, the MIDI controller assignments
are saved with the project.
