Clip blower relay K1 (1) and fuse box A (2)
of the park heating wiring harness into a free
place in the E-box.
In each of the two free fuse plug-in places,
a 1 A blade terminal fuse must be inserted.

Connect branch cable (1) D (terminal 30) to the
battery positive post (2) X18326 in the E-box.

Install branch cables (1) B (terminal 31) and I1
and I2 (4) (metering pump) through the grommet (3)
into the engine compartment.
Connect branch cable (1) B (terminal 31) to the
ground post (2) X166.
Install cables of branch cables G1 and G2 (5)
through the rubber grommet (3) into the engine
compartment to the installation location of the
parking heater.
Install branch cables F1, F2 and E through the
rubber grommet into the passenger compartment.
Should the cut through into the interior be
very narrow, a separate drillhole should be made
at an appropriate place and this will then have to
be sealed again.

Cut cable at blue 26-contact connector X610 (1)
Pin 1 and 2, cable colour green/yellow.
Remove insulation from the cable ends (2) which
are pointing towards the wiring harness and provide
them with AMP pin contact and pin housing.
Remove insulation from cable ends (3) which are
pointing towards the heater or heater/air
conditioner control unit and provide them with
AMP socket contact and socket housing.
Connect cables (2 and 3) with branch
cables F1 and F2.
The two green/yellow cables of the 26-contact
blue connector X610 Pin 1 and 2 must in each
case be crimped with a AMP contact.
7 . Install time switch (optional)

Install branch cable E (1) of the park heating wiring
harness on to the driver's side.
Make a cut-out in the dashboard as illustrated.

Stick drilling template (2) as shown on the left
outer instrument panel cover (1). Make drillholes
as specified on the template.

Screw detent (1) to the instrument panel cover (3)
with self-tapping screw (2) 3.5 x 16 mm. Stick foam
seal from behind on the time switch (5).
Thread branch cable E through the drillhole (6) and
connect it from behind on to the time switch (5).

Take care not to damage the display when the
time switch is put on.
Press time switch (5) on to the detent (1) and
straighten it.
8. Install parking heater

Make drillhole (2) Ø 40 mm in the area shown at
the black plastic panelling (1).

Clip rubber grommet (2) into the black plastic
panelling (1).

Loosely screw retaining plate (1) to the existing
threaded support with hexagon head screw and
washer (2) M6x20 mm.
Screw on loosely hexagon screw with washer (3)
M6x20 mm and hexagon nut M6 with washer.
Put hexagon head screw with washer (4)
M6x20 mm through the drillhole and coming
from the wheel arch screw on with hexagon
nut M6 and washer.
Tighten all screws.
Depending on the year of manufacture of the
vehicle and its equipment, it may happen that the
parking heater stands against the black plastic
panelling. Should this be the case, the black
plastic panelling will have to be worked on with an
air saw. Free clearance must be ensured for the
parking heater.

Cut exhaust pipe (1) to the given measurements:
Measurement: A = 250 mm
B = 200 mm

Screw exhaust pipe (1) (500 mm) to parking
heater (2) with pipe clamp (3).

Drill out drillhole illustrated (1) in wheel arch front
right to Ø 9.1 mm and rivet in blind rivet nut M6.

Bend in the ends of the perforated strip (1)
supplied in the installation kit by 90°.
