Moving the sensor (unit hyperion with one sensor, only)
The sensor can be moved only when the support slide is lowered.
Follow the instructions below for proper movement:
- From the seat on the rotating arm to the seat on the CEPH arm:
1 - select an examination of the CEPH group
2 - press RESET
» the sensor goes down until it is free in the upper area (A)
3 - push the lower part of the sensor to disconnect the side clips (fig. 1)
4 - grip the sensor with both hands and tilt it
5 - lift the sensor to release it from the lower metal hinges (fig. 2)
6 - move it to the dedicated seat on the CEPH arm
7 - holding it tilted, let it go down into the lower hinges (fig. 3)
8 - push the upper part until you hear the closing click of the side clips (fig. 4)
9 - press RESET
» the sensor goes back up into position
- From the seat on the Ceph arm to the seat on the rotating arm:
1 - select an examination of the PAN, SIN or TMJ families
2. press RESET
» the sensor goes down until it is free in the upper area (A)
3 - push the lower part of the sensor to disconnect the side clips (fig. 1)
4 - grip the sensor with both hands and tilt it
5 - lift the sensor to release it from the lower metal hinges (fig. 2)
6 - move it to the dedicated seat on the rotating arm
7 - holding it tilted, let it go down into the lower hinges (fig. 3)
8 - push the upper part until you hear the closing click of the side clips (fig. 4)
9 - press RESET
» the sensor goes back up into working position. The green "Ready" LED on the control panel comes on

5.7. EXECUTING A DUMMY RUN

Act as follows for the device movements. The operator must:
- Closely watch over the patient, and if there is a risk of collision between the X-ray device and the
patient, immediately interrupt the movement by releasing the control button.
- Not allow the patient to assume incorrect positions (resting the hands or other parts of the body in
inappropriate areas) or to move away from the examination area.
To perform a simulated cycle, a simulation of the projection mode or program selected, but without emission of
radiation (dummy run), hold down the button
This button must be held down for the entire cycle, otherwise the movement will stop.
This simulation can be useful for particularly emotional patients, especially children, showing them what the
examination consists of without having to leave them alone in the room.
