After completing the preparations, you press ‚continue'. The
probes will start the Graycode once more, and then project the
image with the coloured stripes. But different from normal, there
will be a white square in the center, lighting up the area where the
target should be.
In the following screen, you will have live values for caster,
camber, and toe:
Concening the sequence of adjustments: It does not make sense
to try and finalize toe adjustment before having adjusted caster
and camber.

As soon as you're done with caster adjustment, you press
‚continue' on the left bottom of the screen. The screen shown
above will appear, and will ask you to remove the targets. But this
is only required if the KPI measurement is not enabled in the setup.
In that case you leave the targets on the wheels, and the brake
locked, because they will be needed for one more steering
procedure to get the final values.
Otherwise, you press ‚Continue' after having the targets removed,
and will be back in the regular front axle adjustment screen.
As the dynamic caster indication is only an approximation, espe-
cially when there is also a lot of camber/toe change, it is always
required and most useful to end the adjustment process with one
more steering procedure. In case of the automatic process
sequence, you will anyway be prompted to do the steering, once
you press ‚Continue' from the front axle screen.
Otherwise, you can always call the steering routine by pressing
the button with the steering symbol, as shown below:
The steering procedure will be according all preselections made
in the setup, and exactly as described in 4.3.
As a result, you will see the front axle screen once more. If you
want to return to the data summary screen, you have to open the
submenu first (left), then press the button as shown in the right
image
.
If you did so from the rear axle adjustment screen, please note that
there will be no live front axle values in the data summary screen.
So, do not change anything on the front axle (that means also NOT
to touch thesteering wheel !), without calling the front axle
adjustment screen before, and waiting until the front axle live
values are there.

Adjust Toe curve / S-Point
Initial remark: For some models of some manufacturing years of
VAG cars (e.g. Audi A4, VW Passat, Skoda Superb) there is a so-
called Multilink-Axle installed as the front axle of the car. On that
one, there is not only a fixed toe value specification, to which the
axle is adjusted. Instead of this, there are two separate adjust-
ments to be done. One is for the absolute toe value in a certain
load situation, the other influences the amount of toe change that
happens with a defined load change.
The pure measurement process on these cars is identical with all
others. But the adjustment is completely different in many points.
If there was no accident or exchange of relevant axle parts, you
can go with regular toe adjustment.
To do the full Mulitlink process, according to original
manufacturer's specifications, you will need the unlocking smart-
card Multilink (1 987 009 AS2N) which is available as special
accessory. Also, a special adjustment tool kit (1 987 009 A25N)
is required.
