7.13 Importing records
EasyWare allows import of XML, p7m (encrypted e-mail) or eml (unencrypted e-mail) files.
7.14 Selecting the EasyOne instrument for the database view
As mentioned above, several EasyOne instruments can be synchronized with one PC database. The
individual instruments are distinguished in the database by their serial number. In Offline mode, i.e. if
no instrument is connected to the software, the required instrument serial number can be selected
manually. Clicking on Select Device Database in the View menu selects the instrument. All instrument
serial numbers present in the database are shown in a list. Now choose the required serial number.
7.15 Device status
The device status (Device Status in the View menu) provides information on serial number, instrument
software version, instrument boot software version, hardware version and device type of EasyOne.
7.16 Device Configuration
The entire Device Configuration (under Device Configuration in the EasyOne main menu) can
be changed easily with EasyWare. The possible settings are identical to the settings in Eas-
yOne. For instance, the header of the report can be changed easily.
The clock in EasyOne can by synchronized with the PC clock by clicking on a button on the 'System Con-
figuration' page.
7.17 Program Preferences
The following window is displayed if you click on Properties in the File menu.
The following properties can be changed:
•
Type of connection to PC. The 'Screen-Connector' is selected here automatically for EasyOne-
CS.
•
File name and path of the EasyWare database. The default setting is EasyWare.mdb and the
path where EasyWare is installed.
•
Path for text file export (default setting the same as for database).
•
Path for the GDT interface. These values are automatically set correctly for CardioSoft
7.18 Language Selection
The language of the EasyWare application can be selected by clicking on Select Language... in the File
menu. Note that this selected language is independent of the language selected in EasyOne.
