Description
The equipment stops immediately when the emergency
stop button is activated (Three-phase models only).
Not used on single phase models
The generating set is shut down if the engine coolant
temperature
exceeds
temperature for more than 5 seconds. This protective
measure becomes active as soon as the engine reaches
the speed at which the starter is disengaged.
The generating set is shut down if the low oil pressure
conditions exist for more than 5 seconds. This protective
measure becomes active 30 seconds after the engine
reaches the speed at which the starter is disengaged
(delay of 30 seconds).
Note: The generating set shutdown in the case of low oil
pressure does not protect in the event of low oil levels.
Check the oil level using the dipstick.
The generating set is shut down after 3 unsuccessful
attempts to start the engine.
The generating set is also shut down if the engine is not
rotating while the starter is operating. The shutdown
occurs 1 second after the fault is detected.
The generating set is shut down on OC if no engine
rotation is sensed during starting. The generating set is
shut down 3 seconds after the fault is detected.
The generating set is shut down when the regulated
frequency is greater than 110% of the system's set
frequency values for more than 5 seconds. This protective
measure becomes active 10 seconds after the engine is
started (delay of 10 seconds).
The generating set is shut down if the engine speed is
greater than 115% of the normal engine speed for more
than 0.3 seconds.
The generating set is shut down when the voltage is
greater than 120% of the system's nominal voltage for
more than 2 seconds.
The generating set is shut down when the regulated
frequency is less than 54 Hz for more than 5 seconds.
The generating set is shut down when the regulated
frequency is less than 56.5 Hz for more than 60 seconds.
This protective measure becomes active 10 seconds after
the engine is started (delay of 10 seconds).
The generating set is shut down when the voltage is less
than 80% of the system's nominal voltage for more than
10 seconds.

Check
Check the position of the emergency
stop button (Three-phase models
only).
Check that the air inlets and exhaust
outlets are free from any obstruction.
Look for leaks from the lubrication
circuit.
Check the level and top up if too low.
Check the fuel supply, spark plugs
and the battery.
Check that all the unions are
correctly tightened.
Contact an approved agent to carry
out maintenance work if the problem
persists.
