3.5.1 Resetting the controller after a fault-related shutdown

After a fault-related shutdown, the source of the fault which caused the shutdown must always be identified and corrected before
resetting the controller.
Apply the following procedure to reset the generating set's controller after a fault-related shutdown.
1. Move the main switch on the generating set to "OFF/RESET".
2. Isolate the generating set from the supply, using the circuit breaker or the automatic changeover switch (normal/emergency
switch).
3. ldentify and correct the source of the fault which caused the shutdown. Refer to section 5 "Faults and solutions".
4. Start the generating set; to do this, move the main switch to "RUN". Carry out a performance test on the generating set to
check that the cause of the shutdown has been properly corrected.
5. Move the main switch on the generating set to "OFF/RESET".
6. Restore the circuit between the generating set and the supply, using the circuit breaker or the normal/emergency switch.
7. Set the generating set's main switch to "AUTO" so that it can be started by a changeover switch or a remote on/off switch.
Note: the LED screen remains off until an engine start command is received.
The controller can also be reset by opening and closing a remote on/off switch.
Description
This fault code is displayed if the voltage of the engine
starter battery exceeds 16 VDC for more than 30 seconds
when the engine is off. These fault conditions do not
prevent the engine from being started.
These fault conditions disappear when the battery voltage
returns to a voltage which complies with the tolerance
levels.
This fault code is displayed if the voltage of the engine
starter battery falls below 11 VDC for more than
30 seconds when the engine is off. These fault conditions
do not prevent the engine from being started.
These fault conditions disappear when the battery voltage
returns to a voltage which complies with the tolerance
levels.
