2.2. General specifications

2.2.1 Generator

The generating set uses an exclusive voltage regulation system (PowerBoost™), which reacts instantly to the slightest variation in
load.
The PowerBoost™ system guarantees the engine starts reliably and voltage levels are constant.

2.2.2 Engine

The generating set is driven by a Kohler
(LP), which are both clean combustion fuels. The engine has the following special features:
Overhead camshaft (improved output) and high-pressure lubrication system, delivering maximum power and torque and a high
level of reliability in all operating conditions.
Reliable, maintenance-free electronic ignition.
High-precision design spare parts made of cast iron.
Multifuel systems enabling onsite conversion of natural gas to LP (and vice versa), in accordance with US CARB emissions
standards.
DSAI (Digital Spark Advance Ignition) for optimum management of spark advance according to the chosen fuel (RES 13 EC,
RES 12 TEC, RES 16 TEC and RES 18 EC).
