7 Troubleshooting Guide

7.1 Troubleshooting guide
Trouble
The device cannot be
powered on when the
AC power source is not
connected.
The device cannot be
powered on when the
AC power source is
connected.
AC power indicator does
light.
Alarm indicator does not Alarm indicator is defective.
Possible Causes
1. Battery is exhausted.
2. Battery connection wires are
disconnected.
3. Battery is defective.
4. On/Off key is broken.
5. The FFC connecting P1 on main
board to P100 on display board is badly
connected.
6. Main board is defective.
7. Reset switch is defective.
Possible causes are the same as those in
above listing 4, 5, 6 and 7.
AC power source is badly connected
and battery is exhausted.
AC power source is badly connected
and battery is defective.
AC power source is badly connected.
AC power indicator is defective.
The FFC connecting P1 on main board
to P100 on display board is badly
connected.
Main board is defective.
Fuses are burnt out.
Display board is defective.
Corrective Actions
1. Connect the device to AC
power source.
2. Check battery connection
wires.
3. Replace battery.
4. Replace display board.
5. Reconnect or replace the
FFC.
6. Replace main board.
7. Replace reset switch.
Corrective Actions are the
same as those in above listing
4, 5, 6 and 7.
Reconnected AC power source
or replace appliance inlet.

battery.
