 Check the extension line integrity before use, and ensure the extension line is not
connected to the patient.
 Prepare the solution for the syringe according to your hospital protocol.
7. Fill the syringe with the solution prepared for infusion.
8. Connect the extension line to the syringe.
Information:
 Purge may be performed manually at this moment to drive out the air in the
extension line.
9. Install the syringe on the device, and ensure the extension line is placed into the extension line
holder and the flange is stuck right in the syringe flange slot.
10. Secure the syringe by the syringe holder.
11. Use the plunger lock arms to ensure the syringe plunger is in close contact with the pusher.
