5 PROGRAMMING

5.1 Power supply

Power the device. On the display the fi gures/words "00.01" (or the fi rmware version currently being used), "TYPE", "-04-" (or
the value of the TYPE of operation currently being used) will appear in sequence followed by the gate closed symbol "- - - -"
(see Table "STATUS MESSAGES on page 39").
NOTE: The sequence of messages appearing on the display can be integrated, after the control unit is powered, with the
information relative to the number of total manoeuvres completed up to that time. Consult parameter EX.18 to activate or
deactivate the function.
5.2 Setting or changing the TYPE
If the TYPE set is not the desired one or if it has not been defi ned ("-88-" fl ashing), proceed as follows:
1. With the gate closed and with the door stationary, press and hold the [OK] key;
2. Press the [+] and [-] keys at the same time until the message "MENU" appears;
3. Keep the 3 keys pressed until "TYP0" appears (the fl ashing number indicates the TYPE currently set);
4. Release all 3 buttons;
5. Scroll the TYPE list with the [+] or [-] keys and confi rm the selection by keeping the [OK] key pressed;
NOTE: To confi rm that the TYPE has been changed, the display will light up all the segments and will restart the control unit,
showing in sequence the words "00.01" (or the fi rmware version currently in use), "TYPE", "-04-" (or the operating TYPE value
currently in use) followed by the closed gate symbol "- - - -".
