FOOT BOX PUMP REPLACEMENT (CONTINUED)
7 .
Using an 1/4" drive ratchet and 11/32" socket, remove the hex nut and star washer (E) that is securing the four
ground cables (see Figure 4) . Detach the four ground cables .
8 .
Using an 1/4" drive ratchet and 11/32" socket, remove the hex nut and star washer (F) that is securing the bottom
ground cable (see Figure 4) . Detach the bottom ground cable .
9 .
Remove the pump assembly from the foot box .
10 . Install the new pump assembly .
11 . Using a 3/16" Allen wrench, secure the new pump assembly to the foot box with the four machine screws (G)
removed in step 6 (see Figure 5) .
12 . Position the bottom ground cable (H) detached in step 8 on to the pump assembly as shown in Figure 6 . Using
a 1/4" drive ratchet and 11/32" socket, secure the ground cable to the pump assembly plate with the hex nut and
star washer removed in step 8 (additional reference on
13 . Position the remaining four ground cables (J) removed in step 7 on top of the hex nut and star washer installed in
step 12 as shown on Figure 6 . Using a 1/4" drive ratchet and 11/32" socket, secure the four ground cables to the
pump assembly plate with the hex nut and star washer removed in step 7 (additional reference on

14 . Reconnect the air hose (K) to the barbed fitting on
the new pump assembly (Figure 7) .
15 . Reconnect the pump assembly power connector
(L) to the power supply board (Figure 7) .
16 . Plug the support surface power cord into the power
source and verify the pump works .
17 . Using a Phillips screwdriver, reinstall the foot box
cover and secure with the seven machine screws
removed in step 3 (see Figure 1) .
18 . Fold the foot end of the support surface back down .
19 . Test the support surface functionality before
returning to service .
