injection if required.
2) Check work conditions and fuel supply angle of the injection pump,
adjust again if required. Readjust the fuel supply pump on the test bench
oil pump if conditions allow it.
3) Check the status of the intake valve seal and exhaust, as well as the
support of the valves. Correct and rectify if necessary, and reset the gap
between the air valves.
4) Check the status and tighten the bolt of the main bearing and the bolt of
the engine flywheel.
5) Secure the tightening bolts of the cylinder cover.
6) Clean or replace the filter cartridge of the air filter.
7) Clean coolant system circuit; detergent for cleaning may be composed
of, 150g of NaOH per liter of water. Remove refrigerant from the
refrigeration system. Then fill it with the prepared detergent. Start the
diesel engine after 8 to 12 hours since the mix was included. Stop the
engine when the water temperature is at working temperature. Don not
leave the detergent for a long time to avoid deposits. Finally clear the
circuit with more water.
8) Check the working conditions of the thermostat and check pump water
leaks. If the leak is important, replace the water pump gasket.
9) Check if the connections of electrical circuits of electrical equipment are
secure or not, and if the contact is good or not. If you find burn marks,
correct them immediately.
10) After 1000 hours of accumulated work, do the following work:
a) Perform an overall inspection, diesel engine parts, and do repairs
and required adjustments.
b) Disassemble the generator and the engine to clean the old grease in
the bearing and replace with new grease, also check the motor drive
gears.
11) After 1500 hours of accumulated work, do the following work:
a) Disassemble the cylinder cover, check other parts between the air
valve and the air valve support.
b) Remove the carbon deposited on the cylinder head, combustion
chamber, piston and piston rings and clean them carefully.
c) Check and measure the wear of the piston and piston rings.
d) Check and measure the wear of the cylinder chamber.
