TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
SYMPTOM
Insufficient and/or no airflow
Face Shield is covered with fog
Insufficient and/or no LED light
Helmet beeps
REPORTING PROBLEMS
The user and/or patient should report any suspected serious incident related to the device by informing the manufacturer and the competent
authority of the member state in which the serious incident has occurred
DISPOSAL/RECYCLE
Follow the hospital and/or local regulations to recycle or dispose of electrical equipment at the end of its useful life.
NOTICE Battery Pack Disposal
The Battery is of a Lithium-Ion type. When the Battery reaches the end of its useful life, the Battery should be
disposed of by a qualified recycler or hazardous materials handler. Do not mix this Battery with the solid waste
stream. Contact your local recycler or hazardous material handler for recycling or disposal information.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

The following are the recommended environmental conditions for operation, storage and transportation of the

NOTE Transport or store in an environment that limits exposure to dust, moisture and temperature extremes
POSSIBLE CAUSES/SOLUTIONS
Increase the fan speed using the fan speed control button.
Ensure the helmet power cable is securely connected to the
Battery Holster.
Replace the Battery with a fully charged Battery.
Replace the Battery Holster.
Ensure the Surgical Hood or Toga filter is properly placed over the
fan inlet.
Faulty Helmet, replace the Helmet if necessary.
Electromagnetic disturbance causes fan to stop working properly.
Restart helmet by removing and reinserting battery. Replace the
helmet if necessary.
Increase the fan speed using the fan speed control button.
Ensure the helmet power cable is securely connected to the
Battery Holster.
Replace the Battery with a fully charged Battery.
Replace the Battery Holster.
Ensure the Surgical Hood or Toga vent is properly placed over the
fan inlet.
Faulty Helmet, replace the Helmet if necessary.
Press the LED power button to turn on the light.
Ensure the helmet power cable is securely connected to the
Battery Holster.
Replace the Battery with a fully charged Battery.
Replace the Battery Holster.
Faulty Helmet, replace the Helmet if necessary.
Electromagnetic disturbance causes fan to stop working properly.
Restart helmet by removing and reinserting battery. Replace the
helmet if necessary.
Remove the Battery and re-insert the Battery.
Replace the Battery.
Replace the Holster and re-insert the Battery.
