11.1 Guarantee
This device is a high-quality medical device.
The product is covered by the statutory 2-year warranty
against malfunctions due to material failure or production
defects.
We guarantee that the safety cartridges will remain sterile
for 5 years in sealed and undamaged packaging, if the
transport and storage conditions are complied with. In the
event of complaints relating to safety cartridges, please
provide us with the lot number printed on the label.
The warranty does not apply to the following damage:
Damage and consequential damage caused by improper

use or failure to comply with the operating manual.
Damage caused by the ingress of fluids or dirt into the
O
inside of the handpiece, the controller or the power sup-
ply.
11.2 Electromagnetic compatibility
WARNING
The device has been tested for electromagnetic compatibil-
ity (EMC) and is suitable for use in the area of domestic
healthcare (CISPR 11 class B). Use in motor vehicles and
aeroplanes is not permitted.
Caution when using this device next to or in connection with
other devices. This could lead to defective operation.

In order to rectify further functional disruptions:
Firstly, disconnect all components, such as the hand-

Check all connections and reconnect the components.

If such use or installation is necessary, this device and the
other devices must be checked to ensure they are function-
ing normally.
When using accessory parts, power units and cables that
are not included in the "4.3 Accessories and spare parts" on
page 37 of the device manufacturer, there is a risk of in-
creased electromagnetic emissions or reduced electromag-
netic immunity of this device and therefore defective opera-
tion.
Portable HF communication devices (such as telephones,
tablets, etc.) should not be used at distances of less than
30 cm from the device and its electrical accessories. Other-
wise this could impair/adversely affect the capacity of the
device.
With regards to guaranteeing its basic safety and significant
performance characteristics, the device has been tested for
its electromagnetic immunity and its electromagnetic radi-
ation. These remain within the limit values specified in the
following tables, with consideration to the stipulated min-
imum distance from neighbouring devices. No maintenance
measures are required to guarantee basic safety and the
significant performance characteristics.
