Safety instructions for the battery
CAUTION!
Keep the battery out of the reach of children.
CAUTION!
Use only original batteries from Heraeus Kulzer.
Order the spare set from Heraeus Kulzer.
CAUTION!
For charging the battery, use the battery charger from Heraeus Kulzer
exclusively. Never attempt to charge the battery with regular chargers.

The battery must be disposed of in accordance with existing applicable laws.

It must not be disposed of together with regular waste. The owner shall be
held liable for any damage caused by improper disposal of the battery.
CAUTION!
Do not use the battery for purposes other than those for which it is intended.
DANGER OF EXPLOSION!
Never open, puncture or crush the battery – it contains poisonous subs-
tances. Do not burn the battery or expose to high temperatures – risk of
explosion! Never short circuit the end elements of the battery – risk of burns
and fi re!
6.3.1
New battery: initial charging
CAUTION!
The battery for the Translux Power Blue is not charged when delivered.
To fully charge the battery:
• Insert the hand piece in its seat in the charger.
• The charging phase is complete when the GREEN LED (3), is permanently light
6.3.2
Battery display at minimum level
If the battery charge sinks to the minimum level after frequent use of the Translux Power
Blue, the microprocessor permits another 6 exposures ("Fast" or "Slow rise") without
recharging the battery.
The battery minimum level is signalled at the end of each of the 6 cycles by 2 beeps.
At the end of the six 6 cycles the hand piece battery indicates empty status (see paragraph
6.3.3 Display of empty battery and paragraph 10.2 Instructions to clean charging contacts).
Insert the Translux Power Blue into the charger.
