18.5. Erasing model memories
) DELETE
Menu: (
MEMO
A model memory can only be used for setting up a new
model, or as destination for a copy, if its contents are
first erased.
Moving to the DELETE menu:
to MENU,
to MEMO,
to DELETE,
Current memory
Use the 3-D digi-adjustor to select the model memory
which is to be erased. A brief press
adjustor carries out the erasure, and takes you back to
the DELETE menu.
Notes:
• Only memories containing model data are offered
for erasure.
• Select DELETE = 0 to delete no memory
If you select 0 with the 3-D digi-adjustor, then confirm
your choice with a brief press , no data will be
erased, and you are returned to the COPY menu.
• You cannot erase the current memory
When you are leafing through, the number of the cur-
rent memory is not offered.
• Concluding with a long press
This is an alternative method of concluding the pro-
cess without erasing data (wait for the confirmation
beep). In this case you are returned to the INFO 1
display.

19.1. Timer 1
Probably the most common use of timers is for re-
cording the length of the motor run. In the C
Timer 1 can be used for this, controlled by the
THROTTLE control (stick or slider).
Two operating modes are available:
a.
The timer starts at 00:00 and continues to count
upward as long as the THROTTLE control is
above the selected switching threshold.
b.
The timer is first set to the available motor run time
(dictated by the battery capacity / fueltank capac-
ity). As long as the THROTTLE control is above
the selected switching threshold, Timer 1 runs
downward. When 30 sec. and 20 sec. remain, you
will hear a triple / double beep. With ten seconds
to go, an alarm sounds every second. The timer
emits a trill when the pre-selected time is finished
(timer passes through zero) (

No switch
Move the transmitter control for throttle (stick or right-
hand slider according to the set stick mode) to and fro
quickly until the code number 5 appears. The hyphen
(marker) following the colon indicates the switching
threshold you have selected.
Switch 5
Now move the THROTTLE control until the marker is
adjacent to the switching threshold you wish to use.
A brief press
process. The flashing ceases, and the setting is stored.

Operating Timer 1 with an alarm
Menu: (
If you set Timer 1 to count down, and if you want the
transmitter to emit an audible alarm when the set time
has elapsed, a start time must be set for this timer.
If you leave the start time at 00:00, Timer 1 runs up-
ward, and no alarm function is available.
