How are the assignment lists arranged?

The assignment lists contain all the transmitter con-
trols and switches which can be used when program-
ming.
The second column indicates the control element to
which the transmitter control or switch is linked. The
arrows adjacent to the switch code letters indicate
whether the switch is positioned on the left (<N) or
right (G>) side of the transmitter.
The third column (Status) includes an up-arrow or a
down-arrow; these have the following meaning for
transmitter controls and switches:
a. In the Controls assignment list
The arrow shows the location of the "Idle" position
of the transmitter control.
' = forward, # = back
The asterisk "*" following the arrow appears when
the control is actually in the Idle position.
Example:
¡Assign.Controls
¨Exit
Throttle
Spoiler
Flap/RPM
For fixed-wing models: Idle for throttle, spoiler /
landing gear retracted.
For helicopters: coll. pitch min., motor OFF position
for throttle limiter.
For the other transmitter controls the Idle position
only has a subordinate significance.
b. In the assignment list Switches
The arrow indicates the direction in which the func-
tion is switched on.
DR-ai (Dual-Rate aileron), CS/DTC (Combi-Switch /
Direct Throttle), Throttle-cut, Timers etc.
The asterisk "*" following the arrow appears when
the switch is currently at the ON position (function
active).
Example:

How are the assignment lists used?

When you set up a new model in a memory (
and 13.2.6.), you can select one of the five lists.
The name of the list is intended to describe the model
category for which the list was created, rather than a
specific model (i.e. "E-glider", rather than "Cularis").
Suggested names: E-heli, E-glider if, for example,
you wish to use different assignments for your electric
models to their equivalents with I.C. motors.

Tip: we recommend that you set up the list to cover
the most complex model which you own in that par-
ticular category. For example, it presents no problem
if the Glider list includes, say, assigned transmitter
controls for flaps and retractable wheel, even if your
current model is just a simple rudder / elevator glider.

Summary: "Global assignments"

Five global assignment lists are available.
Three assignment lists are pre-defined.
All list names and assignments can be changed.

Global mixer definitions

11.4.1.

Why "global" mixer definitions?

As in the case of assignments, there are particular
mixer configurations which modellers use again and
again. For this reason we have separated the mixer
definitions from the process of setting up the indi-
vidual mixer input values for a particular model.
The definition is entered "globally" in menu L
(Setup), Mixer def. (see illustration below). Once
defined, a mixer can be used as often as you like for
any number of models.
When a mixer is defined, the following points are de-
termined:
1. A name for the mixer.
2. A maximum of five mixer inputs.
3. A switch for the mixer inputs.
4. The method of working of the mixer inputs.
¡Define mixer
The magnitude of the mixer inputs is set individually
for each model in the menu £Mixer.
Example:
£5x Mixer.AILERON+
In the line above the mixer inputs, the screen shows
the method of working of the selected mixer input and
