IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed, including the following:
Read all instructions.
Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
To protect against electric shock do not immerse the cord, plugs, or
(state-specific part or parts in question) in water or other liquid.
The appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the haz-
ards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made
by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow
cooling before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning
the appliance.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after
the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner.
Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for
examination, repair, or adjustment.
The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appli-
ance manufacturer may cause injuries.
Do not use outdoors (this item may be omitted if the product is spe-
cifically designed for outdoor use).
Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter, or
touch hot surfaces.
Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
