11. Troubleshooting

Whenever an error message is issued by the OrthoPilot
System, shut down and restart the system, if possible.
►
Perform data capture again if possible.
►
If it is not possible to detect the error or if the error occurs again, abort
the navigated operation and complete the intervention manually.
►
Report error messages to the manufacturer or to one of their autho-
rized representatives, see Chapter 12..

Connect the power cable/power supply.

Deactivate other devices and check whether the disruption per-
sists.
Change the spatial positioning (distance) of the devices until the
interference disappears.
Make certain that non-system cables are routed separately.

OrthoPilot
Shut system down (see Chapter 6.1.2) and disconnect
it from power for approx. 10 seconds. Then restart.
Insert the OrthoPilot® USB security key into a USB port and
restart the system
Use the replacement key.

Reorder a OrthoPilot
USB security key via Aesculap Technical
Service. The recovery key is required for this, see Chapter 5.5.
