Operating Instructions Cubis
If a vessel is being used for the sample:
t
Place the vessel for the material to be weighed onto the weighing
t
pan.
Press the [Tare] button. This compensates for the weight of the vessel.
t
Place the sample in the vessel.
t
If no vessel is used for the sample: Place the sample on the weighing pan.
t
Once the weight value is displayed in black and the weighing unit is
t
displayed: Read off the measured value.

Weighing and Printing with ID Marking
8.9.1
Saving Values for Printouts
Every lot and every sample can be assigned an ID number. The ID numbers
are saved in the print memory and exported during the printing process.
Requirements
The prompt for the lot IDs and sample IDs is activated for the "Weighing"
task.
Procedure
Open the main menu.
t
Select the "Weighing" task.
t
The input field for the lot ID is displayed.
y
If a barcode scanner is connected to the device: Scan or type the lot ID
t
into the entry field.
If no barcode scanner is connected to the device: Type the lot ID into the
t
entry field.
Press the [OK] button.
t
The weighing display is displayed.

Entering a Sample ID
Procedure
Press the [Zero] button.
t
Place the sample on the weighing pan.
t
Press the [Save] button.
t
The input field for the sample ID is displayed.
y
Type or scan the sample ID into the entry field.
t
Press the [OK] button.
t
The [Print memory] button appears in the operating display.
y
The weight value and entered IDs are saved.
