Requirements
The device is connected to the power supply.
Procedure
Download the software package from the Sartorius website onto the
t
USB mass storage device. To do this, download the "Cubis
Firmware" file.
If this relates to a zip file: Unpack the software package on the USB mass
t
storage device. The files must be saved in the main directory (at root
level). The files must not be copied into a folder.
Insert the USB mass storage device with the software package into the
t
device's USB-A connection.
Select the "Update Firmware" menu entry in the "Settings / Device
t
Maintenance" menu.
Select the "USB stick" as the connector and select the desired software
t
version.
The software update takes approx. 5 minutes.

Once the software update is complete: The software version number is
y
updated in the login display.

Performing a QAPP Center Update
The QAPP Center package can be installed from a USB mass storage device
using the device's USB-A or USB-C connection. An update can also be
carried out from a server via other connectors of the device. The following
describes the installation of a USB mass storage device, taken from the
Sartorius website.
Sartorius recommends the following when carrying out QAPP Center
updates:
— Prior to starting the QAPP Center update, save the device data to a USB
mass storage device.
— If a software update is also to be carried out: Perform the software
update for the device first.
Two files are required for the QAPP Center update: QAPP Center with file
ending ".qappcenter", and checksum file with file ending ".qappcenter.md5.
md5".
Execution of the QAPP Center update and troubleshooting during this
process are described in the help text "Device maintenance" (for accessing
help texts, see Chapter "7.4 Using the Help Function", page 51).
Requirements
— The device is switched on.
— The QAPP Center package is saved on a USB mass storage device or on
a server via a connector.
